Regularly post interesting content
The fundamental prerequisite for increase the views of Instagram Stories is, of course, that of regularly post interesting content. Since the Stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours, prefer "fresh" content that concerns your private life and the activities you do in your free time or, if you use Instagram for work, some aspect that concerns the "behind the scenes" of the your business.
In making the Stories, try to prefer videos to photos. For what reason? As you can well imagine, videos generate many more interactions than photos and this can increase their visibility for a very simple reason: the more interactions your content has, the greater the chances that Instagram can "reward" them by showing them not only in Stories, but also in the “Explore” section (which would make the views skyrocket!).
Also look for publish multiple Stories per day regularly: this will ensure that the preview of your Stories is proposed (at least for some time) in the main section of the "Stories" section of Instagram (which, at the time of writing, welcomes the preview of only four accounts, to view the others you have to scroll through them).
Furthermore, getting your audience used to this kind of content is more likely to trigger a mental mechanism in them that pushes them to regularly check for new Stories to view: that's exactly what you want to achieve, right?
Engage the public
Engage the public in Stories significantly increases the number of interactions obtained and, consequently, their potential visibility on the platform. To engage the audience, you can use tools such as i polls and questions: let me show you how to use them best.
To make gods polls, log in to Instagram via the official app for Android or iOS, tap the symbol capacitor positive (+) lead located next to the your profile photo (on the voice Your Story) and create a new Story using aimage or video saved on your device or creating new content on the fly.
After choosing the content to publish, tap on thesmiling sticker at the top and, in the menu that appears from the bottom, tap on the interactive sticker Survey. At this point, write the question you want to ask users in the text field Ask a question…, type in the text fields Yes e No the answer options you want to be voted on and presses on the voice end (located at the top right) to complete the operation.
Now place the survey in the point of the story you prefer and, as soon as you are ready to do it, press the button Your Story (bottom left) to publish the survey in the Story you just made. If you want more information on how to do polls on Instagram, read the guide I linked to you.
If you want to ask users questions or if you want them to be able to ask questions of you, you can use the sticker Questions. Again, to proceed you must first start the Instagram app on your Android or iOS device and log into your account (if you haven't already).
At this point, tap on the symbol capacitor positive (+) lead located next to the your profile photo (on the voice Your Story) and create a new Story using aimage or video that you have saved on your smartphone, or create a new content on the spot. Once you have chosen the content to publish, tap on thesmiling sticker at the top and, in the menu that appears from the bottom, tap on the interactive sticker Questions.
Now, fill in the text field Ask me a question with the formula you want to use to entice your followers to ask a question (eg "Ask me a question…","What do you want to ask me?" or simply "Questions?“), Tap on the item end at the top right and publish the Story with the sticker, by tapping the button The tua storia located in the lower left.
Tag other users
Tag other users in Stories can increase the number of views of this type of content for a very simple reason: if a user is tagged, he will receive a notification and, most likely, will be encouraged to view the content to see what it is and maybe he might even decide to do the repost to your account.
I recommend: do not tag users inappropriately in the Stories just to attract their attention, but do so only when the user in question is portrayed in the photo or video or if it is a content that may be of close interest to them (perhaps because it concerns a topic of which you discussed earlier).
To tag other users in Instagram Stories, log in to your account via the official social network app for Android or iOS and start creating a new Story by tapping on the symbol capacitor positive (+) lead located next to the your profile photo (in the section Yours Story).
You can make a new story using aimage or video that you have saved on your smartphone, or create a new content on the spot. Once you have chosen the content to publish, tap on thesmiling sticker located at the top and, in the menu that opens at the bottom, tap on the interactive sticker @Mention.
At this point, write in the text field @Mention the username of the person you want to tag and tap on the item end (located at the top right). Then reposition the sticker in the point of the Story you prefer and, when you are ready to do so, publish the content by tapping on the item The tua storia (lower left). View the stories of others and interact with them
A rather valid "trick" to increase the number of views of Stories on Instagram is that of view those of others and interact with them: in fact, by doing it, it is likely that other users will also do the same thing with you.
To view the Stories of other users on Instagram, all you have to do is go to the section Stories of Instagram, reachable by tapping on the icon of cottage in the social network app for Android or iOS or by consulting the right panel in the web version of the service.
After opening and viewing the Story of your interest, if you are acting as an app, you can interact with it by pressing on the text field Send Message and writing a message to send to the user who created the content, or using one of the rapid reactions among those listed above.
Analyze your account statistics
By analyzing your account statistics, and in this case those concerning the Stories, it is possible to understand which types of contents are most successful with your audience. To do this, however, you need to switch to a company profile by connecting a Facebook page to your account: if you don't know how, read the guide in which I explain in detail how to do this.
Once you have obtained a company profile, to access the Stories statistics, log in to your Instagram account through the official app for Android or iOS, tap on the icon of thelittle man located at the bottom right and press on yours profile picture, so as to see the Stories you have published.
At this point, to see the statistical data of each content, swipe from bottom to top corresponding to the one you are interested in and tap on theistogram, in order to access to go to the screen with all the related statistics interactions, the accounts reached, the number of follower obtained and so on.
Then try to read the data you will be able to obtain to identify the type of content that seems to be most successful on your account. For more information on how to see the statistics of Instagram Stories, consult the guide I linked to you.
If the indications I have given you in the previous chapters have not increased the views of your Stories considerably, you may want to consider the possibility of sponsor the content created. Also in this case, to succeed, you need to have a company profile.
To sponsor your Stories, start the official Instagram app on your Android or iOS device, log into your account (if necessary), tap thelittle man located in the lower right corner of the screen and presses on yours profilo's photo (top left) to open your Story.
In the screen that opens, then tap the button Other… at the bottom right and, in the menu that opens, select the item Highlight. Then follow the instructions you see on the screen to select the budget and duration of the promotion, provide a payment method valid to finance the sponsorship and confirm your intentions by pressing the button Create promotion.
